Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
4 pcs unboned Tilapia sprinkled with salt and pepper
1/2 cup gluten free flour
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp salt
For the sauce:
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic minced
1 tbsp of flour
1/2 cooking wine
1 cup water
1 tbsp bouillon paste
1 lemon squeezed
Handful of parsley for garnishing
Preparation:
- Clean and pat-dry the tilapia. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Squeeze out lemon. Set aside.
- Smash garlic and mince.
- Chop parsley.
- Combined Flour, cornstarch, garlic, black pepper and salt.
Cooking:
- Heat pan and pour a little amount of oil.
- Roll tilapia in flour mixture.
- Toss tilapia in a pan until slightly brown. Do the same in the other side.
- Remove from the pan and repeat frying until all 4 pieces is done. Set aside.
Sauce:
- In the same pan. Pour the garlic, sauté for about half a minute.
- Add flour stir until evenly mix.
- Add cooking wine. Simmer for about a minute.
- Add water and bouillon. Boil then add lemon juice. Simmer about half a minute.
- Pour in the Tilapia and sprinkle with the parsley. Serve hot. Enjoy!
Note: All times are approximations. Adjust flavors by increasing/decreasing amounts of ingredients.
