Ingredients:
2 lbs chicken thigh or breast ground
2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion chopped
6 cloves garlic minced
1/2 medium size green and red bell pepper diced
2 medium size potatoes cubes
2 medium size carrots cubes
1 8.5 oz sweet green peas
1 cup homemade tomato sauce
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp banana catchup
1 cup chicken broth
1 tsp Paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Peel garlic and mince
- Peel onion and chop
- Slice bell pepper, remove seeds then dice
- Debone chicken optional you can buy ground chicken
Cooking:
- Heat pan in a high flame, add oil then saute onion until slightly brown.
- Add garlic continue sautéing about half a minute.
- Add chicken fry at least 2 minutes.
- Add tomato paste, tomato sauce and catchup. Stir and simmer.
- Add chicken broth cover and cook for about 15 minutes.
- Add the carrots stir and add potatoes. Simmer for another 8 minutes.
- Add bell pepper, salt, pepper and paprika. Simmer until bell pepper soften.
- Add the sweet peas. Simmer a minute. Serve hot. Enjoy!
Note: All times are approximations. Adjust flavors by increasing/decreasing amounts of ingredients.
